Born and raised in Abuja, Nigeria, Bara draws inspiration from the vibrant energy of Nigerian life, its rich cultural heritage, and the dynamic interplay between tradition and modernity. Working primarily in oil and acrylic on canvas, as well as fine art photography, the work explores themes of identity, community, and the beauty found in everyday moments.
Each piece is a conversation between artist and viewer, an invitation to see Nigeria through a lens of wonder and reverence.
